Thanks for taking the time to join my community. I aim to generate and share useful content with the aim to improve the community and help drive IAM initiatives.

I have been working in the IAM and Security industry for 20+ years but am consistently running into the same issues, seeing the same breaches, news articles, etc.  Since I’ve had success in my career, and as I see shifts in the industry, I wanted to take a step back and start looking at Identity as a leadership problem, not just a technology or feature.  Alas, we’re here.

The term ‘Chief Identity Officer’ I think is pretty new and a bit bleeding edge, but as we see shifts to cloud, mobile everything, and the increased threats, I see this as a critical role for organizations going forward.  In order to steer the ship, we need a captain at the helm.
